Pardon the convoluted title of this post, but I abhor dangling prepositions. :)

• The coming spring, and the domestic plans around same (putting in the vegetable garden, starting home improvement projects, fixing the bumpy lawn, etc.)
• The practicalities of making maple syrup
• The need to make soap this weekend, an activity that is loooooooong overdue
  
• The joys of working from home once a week
• My academic options
  
• Certain biological quirks that make life unpredictable
• Possible ways to get someone out of a bad work situation
• The overwhelming cuteness of three sleeping kitties on a single sofa
• The freshly baked bread that is calling my name from the kitchen
• The beautiful writing styles of my favorite food-blog writers
• Writing letters and e-mails to old friends
