Life is good here at Chez Gadrow. Sure, we're knee-deep in home-improvement projects and packing boxes, but family life is good, work is good, prospects for renting this house are good, and good things are coming in our living situation.
P1 is a hoot these days. He giggles and laughs and rolls around and gnaws on Mr. Bo-jingles (the blue elephant toy with a bell in his tummy), loves walkies and baths, sleeps like a champ (FINALLY!), and generally entertains us all day, every day. He has started sleeping for 11 hours straight at night; it is a joy to get a full night's sleep again, and a relief to see him so happy during the day, now that he's well-rested. His daytime sleep is also getting much better, and he's loving solid food (in as much as rice cereal is 'solid'). He loves people, and people love him - to the point where shop clerks give perqs to Hubby when they go to the stores together. He's fun to be with, fun to play with, fun to laugh with, fun to watch learn.
We're really looking forward to moving. Our new town is adorable - it has a real Main Street, sidewalks and parks everywhere, proximity to farms and state parks and national landmarks, friendly people, and (of course) my parents. We'll be heading out there in a little more than a month, and we can't wait!
